These are good laptops that can be used in workplaces, schools or companies or just for other everyday purposes. They are flexible laptops and stylish in nature. But, which is better, Lenovo C340 or Lenovo S340?

The Lenovo IdeaPad S340 is better than Lenovo C340. Turns out that all Intel and AMD models’ high-end configurations will offer the same CPUs as the C340 but cap out at 12GB of RAM.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S340 is a Lenovo made laptop that comes in three models mostly, the 13 inch, 14 and 15 inch and it offers powerful graphics which makes it a good choice for gamers and graphic designers in addition to having fast processors, memory and SSD drivers.

The laptop’s processor is what determines the speed of the computer and how fast the computer is going to run. That is why a good computer means a powerful processor. 

The Lenovo IdeaPad S340 is equipped with a 4 core 10th generation Intel Core i5-1035G1. This processor is equipped with a base frequency of 1.0 GHz. The Processor clocks up to 3.60GHz when boosted with Intel’s Turbo technology. 

The Processor comes with an L2 cache of 6mb. Putting it on a performance scoreboard, it scores 4 out of 5. This performance is just above average especially when it’s memory and SSD are combined, the performance is extremely boosted. 

In terms of the Random Access Memory, the IdeaPad S340 has 2 slots of RAM and it can take up to 20GB Memory. This seems promising as it is the RAM that supports your processor. 

If the computer can take more memory, it means the computer’s processor can be supported better and things are done faster by the computer. 

Between two slots, one of the RAM is soldered to the motherboard which means that no more RAM can be added to this slot in particular but the second slot is expandable and you can add more RAM to this slot. 

On the RAM scoreboard it scores 4.75 out 5 having in mind that it can take up to 20GB RAM as it has the expandable slot.

In terms of storage, which is a factor that affects the speed of a computer, let’s also look at the storage feature of the Lenovo IdeaPad S340. The Lenovo IdeaPad S340 is equipped with a 256 GB PCle SSD. 

The advantage of SSD is that it is a better perfomer than the Hard Drive Disk counterparts and SSD are more resistant to fall which gives it another advantage. 

It is also equipped with a microSD card slot which can take up to 64 GB drive. This earns it a 4.7 out 5 in terms of storage.

In terms of Graphics, the Lenovo IdeaPad S340 is equipped with an Intel UHD Graphics which has a maximum frequency of 1.15 GHz. 

It has to be noted that the Graphics card is not privileged with a dedicated memory and it makes use of the system’s memory which might rather not be suitable for people who like gaming. 

It scores 3 out of 5 in terms of Graphics making emphasis on the disadvantage that the graphics card does not have a dedicated memory.
